- Christian Owens, 41, started sleepwalking due to postpartum anxiety medication, which caused her to eat in her sleep.
- Ms Owens almost died after not chewing the cake rolls properly, causing a piece to ‘suffocate’ her.
- She was saved by her grandmother, Elinda Owens, who performed CPR for six minutes after finding her in bed with blue lips.
- Sleep-related eating disorder (SRED) is a condition where individuals prepare or eat food while sleeping, leading to weight gain and mental distress.
