Authentik Fudge out of Sainte-Julie, Quebec is voluntarily recalling certain Chocolate Fudge with Nuts products (labeled as MONTREAL FUDGE) due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. A recall has been issued due to possible mold growth contamination in some of the products.
To date, no illnesses have been reported related to this recall. The company said it began the recall after one consumer complained and some unopened sealed packages had been found to contain mold when inspected at a plant.
